Evangelion on DVD

Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion is coming out on DVD this spring. AD Films will release the first DVD's on April 24th that will feature four episodes. It will have four language tracks, English, Japanese, Spanish, and French.

For those of you who do not know Evangelion is a really popular anime series. As far as I know it never cameout in the US before. The plot in it is really complicated and sophisticated. Although it spans through only 26 episodes, (DBZ has well over 280) the plot also goes through several movies. Here is a short summary, our planet is invaded by mysterious creatures called 'Angels', and our last line of defense is the NERV Agency and its "Evangelions" -- extremely powerful humanoid fighting machines that are remotely controlled by human pilots.
