      On January 15 back in 1999 FUNimation bought the domain ZStore.com and according to the site it's about to open soon this year. The word is that this new store is going to be a one stop shopping experience for all Anime items, including ones not licensed by FUNImation. Here is quick bit of info straight from ZStore.com.

      Z Store will be here soon. This will be the place for one stop Anime shopping. You will also be able to buy all the latest and greatest CD's, videos, books, mags, apparel and much more at the BEST Prices. We should be up and running soon in the year 2001.

     So far this website isn't really too excited about FUNi's "new" project started more then two years ago. Their current online store is nothing to boast about. High prices and a poor affiliate program led many websites including the DBZN to support others like Amazon. But thats not the main reason for I am writing this...

      Today I noticed an odd trend among some highly acclaimed anime news sites. As soon as the owner of Planet Namek, normally a great source of information, posted news about the store, some of the biggest names in this followed up with the same article. It was all great until I read them and found so many mistakes... I have found so many sites calling this project "recent" when it was started more then two years ago.

       I know this is very common with traditional media but this is the first time I've observed the NY Times of our industry make such a mistake.
